The Good Neighborhood - A New Web Client

Nickel City Graphics has recently taken over the maintenance of The Good Neighborhood website. The Good Neighborhood is a organization that focuses local music, community events and news headed by Seamus Gallivan (a Buffalo re-pat).

Since taking over we have added and updated a few aspects of the site. The first being added newsletter functionality - a sign up on the the right sidebar, and user sign in requirement on comments in order to reduce spam. We also increased The Good Neighborhood's Twitter integration - displaying their Twitter feed and directly posting articles to their account.

Last, but not least, we are be sponsoring a monthly article in conjunction with Green Options Buffalo. The first one can be seen here - Nickel City Graphics Presents: Whatever Happened to Blue Bikes? (Answer: Green Options)

Clean Air Coalition - Niagara Lubricants Fire

A few months back Nickel City Graphics helped produce a video for the Clean Air Coalition of WNY. The video explored the impact of the Niagara Lubricants fire on area residents, and the questionable response by the city and fire department.

Ad Specialty Solutions Video

One of our most recent projects at Nickel City Graphics was a web video we produced for AllStar Advertising's client, Ad Specialty Solutions. AllStar created the concept and wrote the script and we took care of shooting, editing and motion graphics for the production.

The video is meant to inform potential clients about what separates Ad Specialty Solutions from their competitors in the promotional products market. It touches on the importance of interest, quality and practicality when it comes to these products in a concise and informative video. Check it out below:
